Becoming an effective physician has always been about professional formation: developing those traits and skills that characterize the best of our clinicians and teachers.

We have become intentional as a residency and learning community about how to identify, develop and train key aspects of professional practice for all learners.

Each year of the EIP (Educational Innovations Project), new aspects of this embedded curriculum are being built and tested as residents move through the internal medicine residency. Our goal is to be sure every learner receives the guidance and skill sets they need to become effective, empathetic, skilled clinicians.

You are invited to participate in this transformative educational journey by using the resources found in this web site in your own professional formation.
